Building a bilingual, user-friendly, and ADA compliant website for Fiesta Mart, a Latin American supermarket chain headquartered in Texas with a goal to reach more customers and grow its U.S. stores
THE SITUATION
Fiesta Mart needed a website to better meet its primarily U.S. based, Latin American customer base in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin. Our team updated the website’s readability, functionality, responsiveness, and graphics for optimum performance and visitor experience.
THE SOLUTION
Our team provided full-spectrum design, programming, and content creation services for Fiesta Mart. The result is an accessible and brand-immersive website that meets ADA compliance requirements and is functional across all device types, per research indicating that most FiestaMart.com visitors access the website from mobile devices.
IDEATION
Together with the client, our team mapped the user journey of Fiesta Mart website visitors and designed low-fidelity sketches that mocked up necessary website updates.
DESIGN & TEST

Over the course of a week, we produced low-fidelity sketches to target pain-points in the web user journey for customers on FiestaMart.com.
FINAL PRODUCT
Our focus on client success resulted in small but memorable touchpoints with our clients and a new website that averages 40,000 visits per month.
DESIGN SYSTEM
We developed a lightweight design system to help build a cleaner, more maintainable platform with less bugs and happier clients.

typography & style
We use two font families: Antenna & OpenSans. Antenna Font is our Brand type, being more strong and memorable than Open Sans, but Open Sans can help us in body texts, improving the readability and, simplifying the experience to interact with long paragraphs.
